Caroline has been researching 'A Peepshow with
Views of the Interior of a Dutch House' by Samuel van Hoogstraten, currently in the National Gallery London, for a project Flight: Drawing Interpretations with the research department at
London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
A multi-disciplinary event by artists, fashion and
costume designers featuring live performance, film and artefact responding to
the theme of “Flight” will showcase new works that have been created through the
practice of drawing at the National Gallery over a period of a year.
Caroline will be collaborating with virtuoso cellist Li Lu towards a live performance for the free event on June 14th that will showcase costume design and original music based upon the architecture of the room and the perspective box device.
The project is supported by Arts Council England and UAL SEE and DO.
